Green Triangle Software officially started life during 2019 when founder Christian Yeates combined the challenge of COVID and homeschooling.
Green Triangle Software was officially born in 2019, amidst the unique challenges of COVID-19 and homeschooling, when founder Christian Yeates decided it was time to bring his vision to life.
Chris’s career spans roles as a firmware engineer, software developer, development manager, and project manager for industry leaders like Siemens and Sony. His expertise in low-level languages, electronics, and embedded systems was always driven by a singular motivation: to solve real problems, deliver what the sales team needed, and provide end users with the best possible experience. Unlike many who focus on the latest libraries and over-engineered solutions, Chris has always prioritised practical, user-centered innovation.
His journey includes developing high-end TVs at Sony, 15 years in access control and CCTV for Siemens and others also named in patents. Chris then ventured into cloud development, personally integrating 25 major banks, including Barclays, Blackhorse, and Santander, for a leading UK motor finance fintech.
As a project manager, Chris led software projects for clients like MotoNovo and BNP Paribas. Yet, as a theorist with a passion for change, he continued to dream of building his own development team—one that could bring consumer-level software quality to the B2B world.
