The B2B Catering Order System and App were developed to streamline the ordering process for 200 London-based schools, enabling head chefs to place, manage, and track catering orders directly with the catering company. The platform needed to support various features, including order customization, real-time updates, inventory management, and delivery tracking. It was crucial for the system to offer an intuitive user experience for both the head chefs placing orders and the catering company fulfilling them.
Our team created a robust mobile application and web platform that integrates with existing catering systems, allowing for efficient order processing and management. The system also includes a comprehensive admin portal for the catering company to manage their operations, track orders, and communicate with schools in real-time.

We developed a mobile app that allows head chefs at over 200 London-based schools to place their catering orders directly with the catering company. The app simplifies the ordering process, reducing the need for manual input and ensuring that orders are submitted accurately and efficiently.
The app provides real-time tracking of orders, allowing head chefs to monitor the status of their orders from submission to delivery. This feature reduces uncertainty and helps schools plan their meal services more effectively.
To eliminate the need for manual data entry, the app automatically integrates with Sage, ensuring that all orders are logged directly into the system. This integration reduces the risk of errors and significantly speeds up the order processing time.

In addition to the mobile app, we developed a cloud-based ordering portal that allows head chefs to place their orders from any device with internet access. This portal offers the same streamlined features as the mobile app, ensuring that orders can be placed efficiently and accurately, whether the user is on a mobile device or a desktop.
The admin portal centralises all incoming orders from both the mobile app and the cloud-based portal, allowing the catering company to manage and track orders in real-time. The portal provides a comprehensive overview of all orders, making it easier for administrators to manage high volumes of requests.
The admin portal integrates with the catering company’s inventory management system, ensuring that stock levels are updated in real-time as orders are placed. This feature helps prevent overstocking or shortages, enabling more efficient inventory control.
The portal includes communication tools that allow the catering company to quickly address any issues or changes to orders. Additionally, the portal can generate detailed reports on order history and trends, helping the company to analyse their operations and make informed decisions.
